Why KeiwaUltra-definition and Ultra-precision Technologies
Keiwa's core technology SLC, state-of-the-art technology, and high-precision compatibility support advanced functionality and the highly difficult product development of customers.
Contribute to the implementation of high value-added products
for customers through "SLC×UP"
At Keiwa, we have been improving the core technologies of Sheeting, Laminating, and Coating for many years.
We add Ultra Precision (high-resolution advanced technology + Customer service) to these three core technologies to support customers' product development.
We contribute to creating products with higher added values.
-
Sheeting
Technology to create films from plastic resins.
-
Laminating
Technology to bond multiple materials on papers and films to create new functions.
-
Coating
Adding substances to various materials to make them functional and have added values.
Ultra-Precision
Technology of extremely precious process printing on base materials, such as papers, films, etc.
Realization of SLC×UP
-
Solve technological problems that may not have previously been solved.
By combining our own company's sheeting, laminating, coating, and ultra-precision technologies, we can develop products with functions that cannot be conducted for long. -
Flexible change adjustments of designs and specifications in overall optimization with other components.
We can propose a consistent system, from material selection to productization.
We can flexibly handle minor changes of specifications and designs.
Sheeting
technology
Form thin sheets from resins that melt at high temperatures using an extrusion sheeting machine (※).
Possible to form multi-functional sheets by combining a variety of resins in multiple layers.
Extrusion sheeting machine:A machine that heats and melts resins while uniformly and stably extruding and shaping sheets.
- Keiwa's unique strength
- Possible optical control such as haze and phase difference.
- Clean class 10,000 extrusion lines with less contamination and adhesion.
- In the case of thermoplastics resin, possible to sheet various engineering plastic resins.
- Possible to form unique multiple sheets by simultaneously extruding and sheeting different types of resins.
- Possible to produce products based on the required quantity, from a small quantity of several tons to mass production.

Laminating
technology
The bonding layer is known as laminating, which can combine many functions.
Possible to produce various structures by combining sheet-like base materials, including papers, films, metal foil, and non-woven fabric.
Extrusion laminating: To thinly extrude resins melting at high temperatures into films, laminate the base materials of papers and films and bond substrates together.
Dry laminating: Coat solution-like adhesives and bond substrates such as papers and films together.
- Keiwa's unique strength
- A variety of laminating technologies fostered for 70 years since the company's establishment.
- Possible to process the laminating of different types of base materials.
- High-level quality control system using in-line defect inspection equipment.

Coating
technology
Possible to produce functions by coating surfaces of films and papers with solution-like resins.
- Keiwa's unique strength
- Evaluation technology cultivated through efforts with customers in various industries.
- High-level particle coating technology fostered by diffuse films.
- Possible to coat many types of base materials, such as papers, films, non-woven fabric, metal foil, etc.
- Possible to coat not only base material surfaces but also base materials penetrated by the coating liquid, such as papers, non-woven fabric, etc.
- Clean class - coater head part: 100, coater line part: 1,000.
- In case base material films sheeted by our company are used, possible to suppress different phases and provide optical films.

Ultra-Precision
technology
High-definition printing designed with a fine gradation printing pattern handles expansion of the display area and improves uniformity.
It can handle precious hole design, notch designs, etc. and stabilize quality with a high-precision punching process.
- Keiwa's unique strength
- Handles multi-functional composition, such as pattern printing, punching, shade tape bonding, etc.
- Consistent product design to enhance high-precision printing and punching.
- Close to customers in different countries and suggests composite and multiple functioning through high-precision technology.
HOTSPOT・Bright line measureULTRA FINE DOTTMprinting
When the light shielding print of the LED light source unit and the width of the light shielding tape get narrow to expand the display area of the smartphone, uneven brightness, such as HOTSPOTS, bright lines, etc. will become noticeable.
The ultra-fine gradation printing pattern of ULTRA FINE DOTTMprinting can suppress uneven brightness and improve display uniformity.
ULTRA FINE DOTTMprinting is designed with a dot diameter of 0.04 mm or less and a tolerance of ± 0.075 mm.
Light shielding printing can handle a minimum width of 0.15 mm, tolerance ± 0.075 mm, and even hole printing.
The punching process can be done with tolerances of ± 0.075 mm, such as rectangles, corners R, holes, etc.
