Message from the President and Representative Director
Today, our society faces many global issues, including poverty, hunger, and extreme weather due to global warming. As a result, there is a significant trend of ongoing global discussions on how to solve these issues. In 2015, the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) were adopted at a United Nations Summit, and the Paris Agreement was reached at COP21. Such trends are also accelerating in Japan, as indicated by the G20 Osaka Summit and the Tokyo Olympic/Paralympic Games. Furthermore, when assessing companies, investors now prioritize active commitment to Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). This prioritization by investors makes the above commitment an essential driving force for long-term corporate growth.
Given this, and based on our business philosophy of “Creating Harmony between Nature and Industry,” the Keiwa Group has worked to provide products that contribute to society, including energy-efficient and waste-free products. We will continue to pursue this philosophy while actively addressing the social issues in the aim of contributing actively to the future of our planet and our society.
